Hey Everyone!
I am Mason Gavin on behalf of Riverside Chattanooga and wanted to take a second to inform all of our event participants and spectators of our current status in this state of emergency.
We were informed by the City of Chattanooga that our event was scheduled as planned with no issues up until late morning today (3/13) when a state of emergency was declared by our Mayor and the city will now no longer allow any organized events in the city at this time.
We’ve tirelessly seeked locations outside of Chattanooga but have unfortunately experienced the same outcome from neighboring cities that will not allow organized events.
We are deeply saddened by this and the lack of notice we received prior to the event.
We will be refunding all participants and want to thank everyone for understanding that we have no control over this call by the City of Chattanooga.
We appreciate all of the outreach and messages we’ve received and apologize in advance for our delayed response times due to volume.
Again, thank you to all of our supporters and we wish nothing but health and safety for everyone visiting our city. We will update as frequently as possible regarding future events.
This includes the premeet this evening and event tomorrow.
Thank you,
Riverside Chattanooga
